LOCATION
The Martha's Vineyard Airport is a necessity to those traveling to and from the Island of Martha's Vineyard. Centrally located on the island, the airport caters to all residents of the surrounding towns and mainland. Picturesque aerial views, of the island, makes the airport a favorite for the first time flyer or seasoned veteran. Once on the ground it is easy to enjoy the airport's new terminal or many popular sites on the island. AIRPORT FACILITIES The airport has two paved runways. Runway 6/24 is grooved, 5500 feet long and 100 feet wide with ILS available on Runway 24 and REILs/VASI on Runway 6. The secondary runway, 15/33, is 3297 feet long and 75 feet wide with REILs on 33. The airport is attended continuously by Operations Personnel and Pilot Controlled Lighting is available when MVY ATCT is closed. AIRPORT SERVICES Martha's Vineyard Airport has every resource available to assist visitors to the island. Jet and 100LL fuels are available, as well as oil and other needs. Three airlines operate out of MVY, rentals cars are available, there is a restaurant and gift shop inside the new terminal and on-airport parking is plentiful.
