Dr. Quincy "Doc" Mosby is the Airport Manager for Barnstable Municipal Airport located in picturesque Hyannis, Massachusetts. Doc has served as the airport's chief executive since June 2001 after retiring from 28-years of active duty service in the United States Air Force. Dr. Mosby manages the third busiest airport in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and is currently overseeing the airport's $44 million modernization project. He has more than 35 years of aviation experience, which include a host of aviation disciplines and tenure as a private pilot, adjunct university professor, lecturer, and mentor. Since 1989, Pollard has been directly involved in FBO and airport management. Her diverse experiences includes management of Part 135 charter operations, piston and turbine aircraft sales, aviation consulting, aircraft leasing and flight training operations. Pollard has been a licensed pilot since 1991. Pollard is also Airport Manager of the Marshfield Municipal Airport (KGHG), located 20 miles southeast of Boston, MA. Her airport management duties involve extensive coordination with FAA and state aviation officials, airport engineers, environmental agencies, consultants and planners. She has been directly involved in all aspects of the airport’s capital improvement planning process and in supervising airport improvement and safety projects ranging from master planning to runway reconstruction and expansion. Pollard also serves on the Board of the National Air Transportation Association (NATA). She is actively involved in coordinating educational outreach programs for legislators, pilots and the general public on the many ways that general aviation contributes to our economy and overall quality of life.
