This year's 39th Annual MAMA Conference will be held Tuesday November 13th and Wednesday November 14th, 2012 at the Cape Codder Resort and Spa in Hyannis MA. The conference committee is planning an exciting and informative conference of interest to all facets of the aviation community. The program is designed to provide all attendees with the opportunity to share relevant information with private pilots, corporate flight departments, general aviation and air carrier airport management and commissioners, fixed base operators and other aviation service providers.
The conference will kick off Tuesday, November 13th, at 9:30 AM. We are planning on having a full day of meetings and workshops. The annual banquet will be on Tuesday night. On Wednesday November 14th we will have an earlier start time of 8:30 AM and plan to wrap things up by 3:00 PM that day. As the agenda fills in we will be updating you and posting it on the MAMA web site. Wednesday will be our legislative day with State Officials, the Secretary of Transportation and others.
With the date set for November we will be having a Holiday themed event. We will kick off the evening with a cocktail party followed by the banquet, in which we will have a contest for the ugliest holiday sweater and/or tie and a Yankee Swap re-gift. Each attendee is asked to bring a wrapped gift to the banquet, not used, that you got and would like to re-gift. It’s a great way to clean out the closet and lots of fun.
Companies wishing to take out their clients should plan on doing so Monday or Wednesday night, before or after the conference. We will post some dining suggestions on the web site.
MAMA is celebrating 40 years as an association. This would not be possible without the support of many people over the years. The Board of Directors would like to thank everyone and anyone who has made this milestone possible, and we hope you enjoy the conference. Keep checking the web site for updates.
