LOCATION

The Taunton Municipal Airport is located just minutes from Route 24 and Interstates 495 and 95, primary north-south connectors through Massachusetts and New England. Interstate 495 provides direct access to Worcester, I-90, the Massachusetts Turnpike, and Interstates connecting all of New England. As the airport is situated within a Foreign Trade Zone, it continues to stimulate industrial activity throughout the region.

AIRPORT FACILITIES

The airfield contains two runways strategically aligned to facilitate landings in variable wind and weather. The primary runway, 12-30, a paved 3495 foot long strip, and Runway 4/22 is a 2500 foot long turf strip. Airport management provides Navaids and pilot controlled lighting systems on a twenty-four hour basis. Equipment includes a non-directional beacon (instrument certified) and REIL and VASI systems. While aircraft parking is free to airport visitors, management provides tie-downs and fuel on a fee basis. 100LL fuel can be purchased between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM seven days per week.

AIRPORT SERVICES

Services for de-icing, repairs, maintenance, and parts are available during extended business hours. Helicopter services and repairs are also on site. Aviation avionics, flight instruction and training, as well as aircraft sales, rentals, charters, and scenic flights can be arranged through the airport's FBO's.
