LOCATION
The Lawrence Municipal Airport is located in the heart of Massachusetts' Merrimack Valley and is only 30 miles from Boston. Located minutes off Route 93, which connects Boston with New Hampshire, Lawrence Municipal offers local businesses a quick, convenient, and cost effective means of transporting their products, personnel, and clients throughout the global marketplace.
AIRPORT FACILITIES
Lawrence Municipal Airport can accommodate a full range of aircraft, from single and multi-engine planes to smaller jets and helicopters. The airport currently has over 200 based aircraft. The main runway, 5/23, is 5000 feet long and 150 feet wide with an Instrument Landing System available. The secondary runway, 14/32, is 3900 feet long and 100 feet wide. The control tower operates between the hours of 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM with pilot controlled lighting available at all hours.
AIRPORT SERVICES
The airport provides a variety of services to accommodate its visitors. Jet and 100LL are available 24 hours a day, with prior notification, oxygen, hangar space, flight training, aircraft maintenance and modifications, charter services, aerial photography, and even rental cars are all available by one of the many fixed based operators at Lawrence.
