LOCATION

Westover Metropolitan Airport is located in the heart of the Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts. Easily accessible off Interstate 90, the Massachusetts Turnpike, and Interstate 91, the primary north-south connector of Western Massachusetts, Westover is minutes away from popular attractions such as Six Flags over New England, The Basketball and Volleyball Hall of Fame, area colleges, and the growing communities of Greater Springfield.

AIRPORT FACILITIES

The airport has two runways which regularly operate aircraft as large as the C-5A Galaxy. Runway 5/23 is 11600 feet long by 300 feet wide, and Runway 15/33 is 7050 feet long and 150 feet wide. The airport is maintained and operated under joint use contract with the United States Department of Defense and is home to the 439th C-5 Airlift Wing, as well as many private industries.

AIRPORT SERVICES

Jet and 100LL fuels are available, in a new fuel farm, conveniently located next to the Civil Air Terminal. Landing hours are very accessible, 6:00 AM to 12:00 AM, call ahead to make arrangements, and covered storage is available. Aircraft cleaning, air stairs, baggage handling, ice water & lavoratory service, passenger screening, aircrew transportation to local hotels, catering, U.S. Customs on call, and rental cars are all available through Westover Metropolitan Airport.
